Mini accelerometer

Dytran has introduced an ultra-miniature IEPE accelerometer with titanium housing. Weighing 0.2 g, this miniature accelerometer reduces mass loading effects.

Because of its ‘teardrop’ design, the device is suitable for vibration measurements.

The accelerometer is laser welded in titanium housing which ensures its robust construction and contributes to its light weight. It is available with a sensitivity of 2 mV/g and can operate at temperatures up to 150°C.

It features integrated electronics, an adhesive mount and a planar shear, quartz design which reduces base strain sensitivity, thermal transient response and thermal coefficient of sensitivity.
