Agilent Technologies and MathWorks have released Matlab data analysis software that is supplied with the purchase of Agilent 5000, 6000, 7000 and 90000 series oscilloscopes.
Combining the two enables engineers to analyse, visualise and filter signals. The agreement enables users to obtain high-quality instrumentation and data-analysis software from a single source.
The oscilloscopes now have purchase options that allow users to include task-optimised configurations of MathWorks products.
The option 061 basic oscilloscope package provides an introductory software package for configuring and controlling Agilent instruments and performing basic signal and visualisation tasks from Matlab; the option 062 standard oscilloscope package adds functionality for filtering signals and analysing signal processing schemes.
The range of oscilloscopes is available in a variety of forms with bandwidths ranging from 20 MHz to 90 GHz.
