719 series pressure calibrator

Thursday, 01 January, 2009 | Supplied by: Fluke Australia Pty Ltd

Fluke has announced the 719 series electric performance calibrators that feature a built-in electric pressure pump that makes it possible to quickly calibrate and test pressure devices with one hand.

With its built-in, battery-powered pump controlled by a thumb button, the calibrator is convenient, faster and easier to use.

The pump can be programmed to set target pressures or limit pressure to eliminate over pressurisation. It is designed to perform 5000 pump cycles between rebuilds and its unique cleanout port makes it easier to service. The cleanout port minimises pump failures caused by accidental exposure to contaminating fluids.

The device is smaller than other electric pump portable field calibrators, weighing 992 g and operating on two 9 V alkaline batteries.

The device can: measure and source mA with 0.015% accuracy; simultaneously measure pressure and source mA to test valves and I/Ps; simulate mA signals to troubleshoot 4–20 mA control loops.

Two models are available: the 719 30G with a pressure range of -12 to 30 psi; the 719 100G, with a range of -12 to 100 psi.
