Rohde & Schwarz high-end oscilloscopes

Wednesday, 28 July, 2010 | Supplied by: Rohde & Schwarz (Australia) Pty Ltd

Oscilloscopes with a claimed highest active signal acquisition rate available and the first purely digital trigger system and touch-screen operation form the basis of two families in a six scope range from Rohde & Schwarz.

The RTO family comprises instruments with bandwidths of 1 and 2 GHz and is aimed at the high-performance market sector.

Capable of analysing a million waveforms a second, the instrument also features what is claimed to be the first digital trigger system to minimise trigger jitter in an oscilloscope. Initially, the scopes will be available in 2- and 4-channel models.

The RTM family has a bandwidth of up to 500 MHz and is intended for universities, schools or hobbyists.

More basic oscilloscopes with bandwidths up to 350 MHz are available for the company’s subsidiary, Hameg Instruments.
