Interworld Electronics has released a range of analog output, digital I/O, relay output, isolated digital input and watchdog timer cards for the Universal PCI/PCI-X bus.
PCI-X bus slots are appearing in higher end servers and newer computers and have an additional connector key towards the front of the slot. As such, standard PCI cards will not plug into these slots.
The range includes 2, 4, 6 and 8 channel 12 bit analog output cards, a range of digital I/O, buffered digital I/O, relay output and isolated input cards as well as multi-function watchdog timer cards.
In most cases the product codes for the PCI and Universal PCI options are the same.
