M Rutty has a range of miniature DC coreless motors for use as signal vibrators in portable paging devices and mobile phones.

High resistance windings coupled with precious metal brushes result in a current draw of 40 mA on an applied voltage of 80 mV.

Selectable counterweights are fitted according to requirements to achieve the correct vibrating effect.

The motors are 6 and 7 mm in diameter and have speeds ranging from 5000 to 16,000 rpm. Options are available for customised mounting techniques and terminations.
