Semtech LoRa LR1121 multi-band transceiver

Mouser Electronics, Inc. now stocks the LoRa LR1121 multi-band transceiver from Semtech. The device is an ultra-low power, long-range transceiver offering support for terrestrial, industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) band communications and S-Band support for satellite connectivity. The transceiver is suitable for applications requiring compliance with radio standards, including smart meters, asset tracking applications, parking sensors, environmental sensors and home automation.

The transceiver supports any combination of LoRa, (G)FSK, and long-range FHSS (LR-FHSS) modulations. The transceiver complies with a range of radio standards, including ETSI EN 300 220, FCC CFR 47 Part 15, ARIB and Chinese regulatory requirements. The transceiver includes an integrated PA regulator supply selector, simplifying dual power +15/+22 dBm with a single board implementation (sub-GHz). The transceiver is compatible with LoRa Connect SX1261/2/8 devices and the LoRaWAN protocol defined by the LoRa Alliance. Featuring a robust cryptographic engine, the transceiver supports AES-128 encryption/decryption-based algorithms.

The transceiver is supported by the LR1121DVK1TxKS development kits. The development kits offer an RF front-end and antennas, configured for the global 2.4 GHz ISM band, as well as the regional frequencies 868 MHz (Europe, LR1121DVK1TBKS), 915 MHz (North America, LR1121DVK1TCKS) and 490 MHz (China, LR1121DVK1TGKS).
