The XMC1100 evaluation board from Infineon is designed to offer 32-bit power to current 8-bit users, delivering breakthrough performance achieved by using 65 nm embedded flash production technology and combining an ARM 32-bit processor.
The boot kit features an Infineon XMC1000 microcontroller with 64 kB Flash ARM Cortex-M0 and is suitable for industrial applications such as motor control, LED lighting, digital power conversion, smart sensors and touch control. It is compatible with Arduino Shields.
The product overcomes the limitations of 8-bit designs and comes with a detachable Segger J-Link debugger and UART virtual COM port, with micro USB connector. Its six user LEDs enable electronics designers to benefit from high efficiencies for their next-generation systems where powerful functionality is required.
