The iSafe Taxi Pro iVC-1 is a compact site, fanless RISC platform with a GUI that is designed for touch operation. The mobile data terminal features a Freescale i.MX515: MCIMX515DJM8C CPU. With integrated power management optimisation, the data terminal is an environmentally friendly product with low power consumption.

Functions include live video and positioning, recording and playback ability, tracking, event handling and remote control via 3G/Wi-Fi. Automated solutions include auto adjusted live video quality (according to network bandwidth) as well as automatic updates for the software and firmware over the air.

The product provides support for multistandard hardware video CODECS, hardware encoders and decoders, dual display with LVDS and SDTV/HDTV, as well as 2 x channels NTSC/PAL input with CVBS I/F. Connectivity includes 2 x SDIO with support for isolated 4 x DI/ 4 x DO, LAN, 2 x USB, USB-OTG and 4 x COM.

The Taxi Pro iVC-1 Solution Platform includes dispatch functionalities, airtime for data communications, in-vehicle mobile data computer, automatic vehicle location and electronic payment.
