OKW Interface-Terminal desk and wall-mount enclosures

OKW has added desk and wall-mount versions of its Interface-Terminal cases. The attractive and ergonomic enclosures have been designed for fast installation and replacement of the electronics. Typical applications include medical and wellness equipment, measuring and control instruments, security systems and point-of-sale terminals.

The enclosures are offered in a range of fixed and two-part configurations. The fixed cases are assembled with screws, whereas the two-part cases have a snap lock which allows easy removal/replacement of the electronics section, while leaving the base on the desk or wall.

The cases are moulded in off-white ABS and have a modern contoured shape with external dimensions of 190 x 135 x 95 (S) or 225 x 165 x 104 mm (M). The three-part assembly consists of the top and centre section, which can be mounted in a portrait or landscape orientation on the base section.

The top section is available closed, with a recess for a membrane keypad or touchscreen, or open for mounting an anodised aluminium front panel. The closed top has been designed for mounting 6.4″ or 8.4″ touchscreens.

OKW can supply the cases with additional holes for the push-buttons, connectors and displays, plus silk-screen printed legends and logos, and EMC shielding.
