ROLEC profiPLUS suspension arms

ROLEC has unveiled its profiPLUS designer suspension arms. The elegant and ergonomic modular system offers a huge range of couplings, joints and sections to create a suspension arm solution for a broad spectrum of electronics applications.

The product is quick and easy to install either vertically, horizontally or on the floor. It offers alignment of the complete system in a horizontal direction through a single set screw.

The product is available in two models - 50 (51.5 mm wide) and 70 (70.2 mm wide) - to offer a choice of load and cable capacities. They have been designed to integrate with ROLEC’s commandCASE, topVISION, multiVISION and command aluFACE enclosures.

Each model offers more than 40 different components including 30 couplings (hanging and upright in both rotary and ‘turn and tilt’ configurations); three stable ball-shaped joints (wall, socket, intermediate); and five support profiles (from 0.25 to 1.50 m). Both models are rated to IP54.

Console couplings have reduced installation depths to save space. The profiPLUS 50 also offers specialised adapters for display panels including Siemens and Beckhoff. All components are manufactured from cast aluminium while the support profiles are in silver anodised aluminium.

Installation covers are moulded from polyoxymethylene. All the seals are chloroprene (-30 to +90°C) while the bellows are plasticised polyvinyl chloride (-30 to +70°C). Customising options include bespoke colours with powder coating of the main system components and a choice of anodising for the support profiles.
