The 6610 is claimed to be the first appliance outlet using IDC terminals. This allows reduction of labour costs by supporting more efficient assembly.

Multiple outlets can be banked and wire connectors can be bussed, connecting the terminals all at once.

The device is especially suitable for power distribution units and appliances with multiple power outputs.

The IEC F appliance outlet is equipped with IDC terminals and available for two different wiring versions, ‘along’ and ‘across’ to the connector pin axis. The terminals accept insulated solid wires with cross-section AWG12/2.5 mm2 and AWG16/1.0-1.5 mm2.

The component is designed for snap-in mounting and is supplied with a protection cover that helps in pressing the wires and, at the same time, protects from electrical shock.

Special versions with an individual quick connect or solder line terminal are available. The series has ENEC and cURus approvals and is suitable for applications in accordance with IEC/EN 60950.
