The JREX-CAGE1 is a compact chassis for Kontron's 3.5" embedded modules.
The chassis is designed to fit both the Value Line (JRex-86LCD and JRex-GX1LCD) and Embedded Line (JRex and JFlex boards). The unit comes with a built-in 150 W ATX power supply with cabling to power the drive interface, JRex modules and additional I/O.
Each unit has mounting space for a 2.5" hard drive designed for mobile or rugged applications.
The case provides space for two extra panels. These can be used for additional peripherals such as JFlex or PC/104 I/O boards.
Mounting brackets are available for PC104-Plus I/O modules. In addition to I/O and CPU rear panel connectors, mounting holes for extra COM, USB and LPT ports are provided.
While the power supply fan is sufficient for most applications, an extra cooling fan with filter is available for systems requiring increased air flow.
The standard unit is supplied with rubber feet for desktop applications. Optional mounting brackets are available for benchtop, wall and 19" rackmounting.
