The Modulbox XT gives increased internal volume allowing 12 modules in width in an enclosure.
Three versions are available as standard for each modular size.
Type A’s shape and dimensions have been designed to the original range of enclosures with a two-step feature. Type B has two steps on one side of the enclosure and one high step on the other side. Type C has high steps on both sides of the enclosure giving increased internal volume. Version AV Modulbox XT comes with ventilation slots.
Inserts can be placed into the mould tools allowing the user to customise the sides of the enclosure.
The XT allows more than one PCB to be inserted into the enclosure. It is claimed to be the only enclosure, beside the DIN rail mounting system that also includes integrated wall mounting.
