Ultra-Fast .205 series fully insulated FASTON Receptacle is available in three configurations for .205 sized tabs. The product is fully insulated so it is not necessary to implement costly post-insulation processes. Ultra-Fast .205 series FASTON receptacles are used in dishwashers, clothes washers and dryers, refrigeration equipment, ranges, and other household appliances. Additionally, these quick connects are especially suitable for lawn and garden equipment, HVAC units, vending machines, various automotive applications and home entertainment systems.

Fully insulated Ultra-Fast .205 series FASTON receptacles allow designers to more tightly package tabs and lessen their concern over electrical shorts between contacts. This product is rated for 600V accepts 18-22 AWG stranded wire and meets UL 310 requirements. It is also UL qualified for wire doubling of 20 and 22 AWG wire. The Ultra-Fast .205 series FASTON receptacle not only has important engineering features, but also is economical to terminate. Manufacturers may use the AMP-O-LECTRIC Model G Press or the AMP-O-LECTRIC Model K Press in addition to the Entry Level Terminator for high speed, semiautomatic product termination. Special applicators are not necessary because this product uses the same applicator as the existing Ultra-Fast .250 FASTON receptacle product line. The insulation is nylon with tin plated brass for the contact.
