Handsome new colours for stylish Hammond handhelds

The Hammond range of soft-sided handhelds, the 1553 series, has four new colours added to the range. They are black, red, safety yellow and translucent blue (these are translucent to blue, white and near white LEDs, readouts and displays).

Designed to be held comfortably in the hand, there are two versions, with or without a battery door and compartment, in two sizes. The battery version includes four battery clips (for two AA batteries) and a 9 V battery clip.

Manufactured in general purpose ABS plastic with a black over-mould, soft plastic grip, the top cover is recessed for membrane display or keypad.

PC board standoffs are moulded into the case. The front panel is removable for easy modification and all assembly hardware is included.
