SKB now produces a 4U version of its military/industrial shock racks in the 24, 28 and 30" deep models.
These cases have the same features as 6U, 8U and 10U sizes. Features include black powder-coated stainless steel key locking latches, push-button removable dual locking casters, quick-removing 270° swing front and rear doors, cushion grip spring-loaded lift handles and rotationally moulded polyethylene construction.
The 24 and 30" models have inner racks that are 24 and 30" spacing from the outer face of the front rail to the outer face of the rear rail.
These models have 10-32 tapped rack rails and come with mounting screws that have ‘no mar’ nylon washers pre-installed. The 28" version has a ‘convertible rack rail system’ with adjustable rack rail plates that are designed to use square cage nuts.
Accessory rack rail plates are available with through holes for mounting equipment that has threaded receivers and also standard 10-32 tapped plates.
