Contract assembler of electronics, Surtek has opened purpose-built premises at Acacia Ridge in Brisbane.
The building is designed for the particular needs of contract assembly and also for expansion.
Current customers come from sectors such as avionics, defence, energy, telecommunications, control-systems and RF communications, the company is looking to develop new market segments such as high-reliability soldering and wire-bonding and is on track with plans to have a lead-free capability by the end of the first quarter in 2005.
