Friday, 05 April, 2013

ASTC (Australian Semiconductor Technology Company) has appointed Mario Cavaiuolo as VP of ASIC Turnkey Design Solutions. His new charter is delivering turnkey ASIC consulting services to electronics companies in Australia, New Zealand and worldwide for their competitive advantage. These services comprise design, verification, implementation, foundry relationships and embedded software development.

ASIC integration is said to reduce costs, provide IP protection, simplify PCBs with vastly reduced component count and increase reliability. ASTC engineering and methodologies are said to help electronics companies design better products and get to market faster, with lower cost and risk.

ASTC is a design partner to the electronics supply chain, from semiconductor and IP vendors to software, OEM and systems companies, spanning wireless, mobile, industrial, automotive, multimedia electronics and embedded software.
