Automation division established
Belden Australia has created a division that will provide greater support for distributors of its Hirschmann Automation and Control and Lumberg Automation brands.
European-based Hirschmann and Lumberg, developers of industrial automation technology, joined the Belden group in 2007.
Adam Callender will head the new Belden Automation division, which is now part of Belden's south pacific business, based in Australia.
Local distributors Soanar, Daanet and Balluff-Leuze will continue to provide industrial automation solutions to engineers who want networking control systems for industries including food processing, motor vehicle, and materials handling and assembly.
