Call for EOI for medical equipment fair

Tuesday, 25 November, 2014

AusBiotech is seeking expressions of interest to join the Australian delegation to the 73rd China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) in May 2015, the Asia-Pacific’s largest exhibition with around 2700 exhibitors and 80,000 visitors. CMEF services the entire value chain for the medical devices market.

Opportunities now exist for Australian companies and research organisations to exhibit on the Australian Pavilion at CMEF, to be held in Shanghai, China, from 15 - 18 May 2015.

The Australia Pavilion will offer exhibiting companies more than just an exhibition space - it will provide total support. The recognisable Brand Australia images, shared services, informal meeting areas, meeting rooms and reception counters will ensure companies maximise their chances of achieving a successful outcome at this major event.

AusBiotech is now seeking expressions of interest to attend this major event and will create various packages at affordable rates for companies interested in taking up this opportunity.

The delegation to CMEF is to be held immediately prior to Asia Biotech Invest 2015, 19 - 21 of May in Hong Kong. Timing has been arranged for delegates to be able to travel directly from CMEF to the Hong Kong investment meeting.

Austrade will be offering business-matching services during CMEF and is planning a medical mission to China (tentatively 12 - 14 May) and a gala dinner during CMEF (tentatively 15 May). Information from Austrade regarding these fee-for-service options will be circulated separately.

To express interest or for further information on the Australian delegation to CMEF, please contact: Kirsty Grimwade, event manager AusBiotech, phone (03) 9828 1406 or email kgrimwade@ausbiotech.org.
