To strengthen its Industrial Technologies portfolio, scientific instrument supplier Biolab Australia has acquired Davidson Measurement. Davidson Measurement sells, services and calibrates instruments and equipment for the measurement, analysis, acquisition and interaction of data.

Biolab Industrial Technologies aims to become a niche provider of specialised calibration services and equipment, covering destructive and non-destructive testing, sensing and measurement technologies for immediate data acquisition for both the laboratory and process manufacturing sectors.

The two companies' staff will form one team with Kevin Davidson, former owner and managing director of Davidson Measurement, managing the group while reporting to Tony Acciarito at Biolab.
