COO appointed
CommScope has named Randy Crenshaw as chief operating officer.
Based in Richardson, Texas, he has served the company as chief supply officer since late 2009 and previously was executive vice-president and general manager of CommScope Enterprise Solutions.
In his new role, he will lead the company's supply chain, manufacturing, quality, product development and management and business unit functions and report to Eddie Edwards, who served as chief operating officer before his January 2011 appointment as president and chief executive officer succeeding Frank Drendel, who remains as chairman of the board.
