element 14 expands partnership with Hammond Manufacturing
element14 (formerly Farnell) has expanded its partnership with Hammond Manufacturing to bring its enclosures to the Asia-Pacific, resulting in the claimed largest locally stocked inventory in the region.
Hammond specialises in the design and manufacture of die-cast aluminium, plastic and metal enclosures for portable and handheld equipment, desktop instruments, miniature controllers and similar applications suitable for electrical and electronic original equipment manufacturers.
Hammond’s 1550Z series comprises thick-wall, die-cast aluminium enclosures which are watertight. It is compliant with IP66 standards and has no internal ribs for easy installation of connectors without interference or additional milling.
The 1414 N4 PHSS series of continuous hinge, clamped-cover stainless steel enclosures provides protection where equipment may be used in wet conditions and is designed for use as instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes or terminal wiring enclosures.
