element14 to exclusively stock Wurth's signal LEDs

element14 will exclusively stock Wurth Elektronik’s new range of signal light emitting diodes (LEDs) comprising standard and standard multicolour.

The LED’s primary applications are as signal LEDs for status indication in electronic equipment and in industrial electronics, but they also feature in many other applications such as scoreboards, keyboards, display panels, vending machines, audio and hi-fi equipment and more.

The LEDs in this range are compact and provide a low current and low energy consumption solution. The new range also includes different reverse-mount LEDs, side LEDs (90°) as well as selected THT types. Other advantages include fast switching times, no UV/IR radiation, different radiation angles and different colours.

Although the LEDs are standard components, they are provided with a number of extra practical features, for example, the chip LEDs feature optical polarity marking of the cathode on both the top and the bottom of the LED for clarity.  This allows for visual checking after assembly.
