FieldFox B-series seminars in Melbourne and Sydney

Test and measurement company Keysight Technologies Australia hosted a FieldFox B-series seminar in its Melbourne office on 27 February. There, Keysight’s technical experts shared with attendees how the wider analysis bandwidth and real-time spectrum analysis (RTSA) capability addresses the latest technical challenges faced by technologies such as mmWave band, radar/EW, satellite, 5G and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Another topic that was covered during the seminar was electromagnetic fields (EMF) measurement. EMF radiation is a health concern and Keysight showed the attendees how to make the EMF measurements in the field at the same time as making other important RF measurements.

Interference analysis was a big focus, as there are more interference signal types impacting communications today that are non-static; examples include hopping frequencies like Bluetooth. Keysight discussed best practices in troubleshooting interference and signal quality.

Attendees said they found the seminar very informative and useful — and with a second seminar set to be held in Sydney on 18 March, interested participants are encouraged to register now at https://connectlp.keysight.com/New-FieldFox-B-Series.
