Free sessions at ElectroneX 2016
ElectroneX 2016 opens in Sydney in two weeks. For the first time at the Sydney show, a series of free seminar sessions will be held, covering the latest hot topics in the electronics industry.
Each session runs for 30 to 40 minutes; bookings are not required.
Topics include:
- Application of 3D printing for the electronics industry
- The Internet of Things (IoT)
- MID LDS — tomorrow’s technology in today’s production
- Fatigue damage spectrum and vibration testing
- To design or not to design — a commercial view to product development

In addition, the SMCBA (Surface Mount & Circuit Board Association) Conference will run concurrently with the expo. It will feature three workshops with the following international speakers:
- Dale Lee, Plexus Corporation — Design for Excellence: DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFR (Design for Reliability), DFA (Design for Assembly) and more
- Dr S Manian Ramkumar, Rochester Institute of Technology — SMT and through-hole defect analysis and process troubleshooting
- Dr Hamish Laird, ELMG Digital Power — High performance digital control
