Gore joins alliance

WL Gore has joined the Ethernet Alliance, an industry group dedicated to the promotion of ethernet technologies.

Gore will play a role in developing ethernet copper cable interconnects.

The alliance was created to promote industry awareness, acceptance and advancement of technology and products based on existing and emerging IEEE 802 ethernet standards.

The organisation aims to provide an industry voice on IEEE 802 ethernet projects and also strengthen industry relationships with improved interoperability and performance for end users.
