Key appointments at Farnell

Premier Farnell has announced two new appointments in the Asia-Pacific region.

Edmond Chu has become managing director for Premier Electronics, in the Greater China region.

With more than 25 years of experience in the global and regional electronics industry, Edmond was formerly the vice president of sales, China & Hong Kong at Arrow Asia Pacific Ltd.

Before joining Arrow, he served in various professional and management positions at Tektronix, Siemens and AVX/Kyocera.

Athena Wang has been appointed regional director of strategy and business development for Premier Farnell in Asia-Pacific. In this new role, Athena will be based in Singapore. She will oversee and manage the execution of the company’s strategy as well as drive business development into existing and new market segments across the Asia-Pacific region.

Before this appointment, Athena was managing director of Premier Electronics, Premier Farnell’s Greater China operations.
