Motion Technologies to distribute Delta Tau motion control electronics in Australia

Friday, 08 March, 2013

Motion Technologies is now a systems integrator and Australian distributor for all Delta Tau motion control electronics products. Motion Technologies is already familiar with the PMAC range of controllers and will be able to offer Australian end users a local source of knowledge and a service centre for troubleshooting.

Delta Tau’s Power PMAC motion controllers feature a flexible, easy-to-use programming tool where motion programming language is intuitive, using plain English command statements such as WHILE, IF and ELSE. Move commands are simply programmed with an axis letter, such as X, Y, Z. The Power PMAC UMAC CPU is intended to be used in a 3U UMAC Rack, which is a modular rack format permitting the user to configure his or her rack with whatever I/O, servo control cards, MACRO cards, or any other accessory card Delta Tau offers for the UMAC Rack format, to build a totally user-customised system. The Power PMAC UMAC CPU can control up to 256 axes, whether through direct local control, or distributed control over a MACRO fibre optic ring, or over an EtherCAT network.
