MStar Semiconductor joins MoCA
MStar Semiconductor has joined the Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA) as an associate member.
MStar is a provider for high-volume consumer electronics markets, including TV and STB. The company offers a wide range of products for the Pay TV STB industry.
MStar’s membership is an example of the international demand for MoCA technology. MoCA supports multiple streams of content including HDTV, 3D, gaming and OTT, via an IP-over-coax connection to numerous in-home devices. This includes HDTVs, game consoles and PCs.
MoCA technology also provides the connection without interfering with existing technologies or services already in use.
