Olympus launches online store
Olympus, a manufacturer and distributor of optical, electronic and precision engineering products, for scientific, medical and industrial applications, has launched a new online store.
The online store features tools to assist customers with their product selection in a user-friendly format. “Traditionally, users navigated through a large list of products and product groups to find out what they needed,” said Michael Wilkinson, Business Unit Manager at Olympus. “We want to use the web functionality to make it easier and faster for customers to find information, and select the most appropriate product.”
If a customer has a specific query while shopping at the online store, the vast knowledge of the expert staff at Olympus is readily available via email or telephone.
The website also features large, single-click buttons to access the most commonly sought items available through the online store.
Customers can purchase standard thickness gauges such as the 45 MG, through to accessories for instruments including ultrasonic flaw detectors, other thickness gauge models and videoscopes. Accessories available directly from the online store include phased array probes, transducer cables and software for flaw detectors, and tip adaptors and light sources for videoscopes and fibrescopes.
