Electronic components distributor Premier Farnell has signed an agreement to distribute LEDs from Philips Lumileds.

Philips Lumileds products are designed specifically for illumination solutions, including recessed lighting, street lamps and retrofit bulbs, as well as being optimised for specific colour temperature and colour rendering combinations.

Philips Lumileds decided to partner with Premier Farnell because of its 170,000 element14 community of engineers. “The strength of technical support and engagement on the site around our products makes them a perfect partner for us as well as their reach in Asia. We know that both these strengths will support our global aims,” said Allan Horn, Director of Distribution - EMEA at Philips Lumileds.
