Registrations open for 2014 LabVIEW Developer Days

Tuesday, 29 April, 2014

National Instruments Oceania has announced open registrations for the 2014 LabVIEW Developer Days, the company’s annual user conference series focused on building local engineers and scientists proficiency using LabVIEW for their application development.

The free-to-attend event will be held in three locations during May 2014, where attendees will have the exclusive opportunity to develop and enhance their proficiency and experience with LabVIEW through in-depth presentations, product demonstrations and guest case studies showcasing programming best practices, techniques, and tips and tricks.

The event agenda will include a variety of sessions ranging from introductory, intermediate and advanced topics, providing attendees with the unique opportunity to improve the skills and knowledge regardless of their level of programming experience. The hosting of LabVIEW User Groups will also be incorporated into the schedule to provide the local developer community further opportunity to meet and discuss their LabVIEW expertise and interest in great detail with other local LabVIEW developers.

In addition to local NI engineers and LabVIEW experts from NI Australia and New Zealand, Courtney Lessard, LabVIEW Product Manager for National Instruments based out of NI Head Quarters in Austin, Texas, USA, will be presenting at the events across Australia and New Zealand, and meeting with local customers, providing them with the opportunity to provide feedback into the future direction of LabVIEW. Courtney’s experience at NI includes extensive experience working on the LabVIEW software evaluation, signal processing and instrument control, and she has a strong passion for equipping engineers and scientists with LabVIEW knowledge.

Introductory-intermediate programmers will take a democentric tour through the LabVIEW platform to find out why graphical programming is used by tens of thousands of engineers across the globe to increase productivity and lower costs for test, measurement, control and embedded design applications. Attendees will also explore analysis and signal processing techniques, and tips and tricks for highly productive programming with LabVIEW.

Topics vary per location for intermediate and advanced programmers, who will learn about various programming techniques and how to make the most of their FPGA designs.

Additionally, NI is inviting proficient users of LabVIEW to take the Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer exam free of charge at the events, a saving of AU$165.

Dates and locations for LabVIEW Developer Days in Australia and New Zealand:
