Renesas Mobile opens its doors

Renesas Mobile, a specialist in SoC mainly for mobile devices and car navigation systems, has begun operation on 1 December.

The company also has bought the wireless modem business of Nokia and transferred assets of the wireless modem business to Renesas Mobile together with Renesas Electronics’ mobile multimedia SoC business.
