RS Components appoints Mikael Malm as chief supply chain officer
RS Components has appointed Mikael Malm as chief supply chain officer. Based in Hong Kong, he is responsible for the ongoing development of the company’s supply chain, ensuring RS continues to leverage its global scale in a safe and sustainable way to provide customers with an industry-leading service. He reports to the Group’s CEO, Lindsley Ruth.
Mikael has over 25 years’ experience in global sales, manufacturing, supply chain and sourcing, incorporating general management, operations and strategic development across a range of multinational companies. Before joining RS, he was chief operation officer and executive vice president at Efore Oyj, a leading company developing and manufacturing customised and standard power products for electronics.
Previously, Mikael was director supply chain management at Huawei, head of sourcing and supply at Ericsson Saudi Arabia and general manager of Consilium Fire & Gas Production.
