SpinetiX has appointed Amber Technology as the distributor for a suite of digital signage hardware and software solutions in Australia and New Zealand.
The HMP100 is claimed to be the first hyper media player available. Using open software standards, it is suitable for digital signage.
Based on the SVG (scalable vector graphics) platform, it allows mixing streaming and encoded video, images and audio file formats combined with other information such as RSS or XML into the presentation.
Because HMP100 uses open software, it allows users to provide custom applications for specialised situations such as hotel or transport directories.
