“The opening of the new Chongqing site demonstrates our interest to further invest in the fast growing market of Western China. By getting closer to key local automotive and industrial customers, u-blox shows its dedication to offer the best services and support to existing and future customers,” said Tonny Zhong, country manager of u-blox China.
“We are also planning to increase our head count in the near future,” he said.
The new facility is located on the 40th floor of the famous Chongqing International Finance Center, a landmark skyscraper towering 431 metres over the city’s business centre.
