Würth Elektronik supports fight against cancer
Würth Elektronik is supporting Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) on the occasion of World Cancer Day.
For every reference design that Würth Elektronik eiSos wins in 2014, the company will donate US$40 to UICC. For every reference design for which Würth Elektronik eiSos is registered as the second source, US$20 will be donated.
“At Würth Elektronik eiSos, supporting the global fight against cancer is a matter that is close to our heart,” said company CEOs Oliver Konz and Thomas Schrott.
UICC is also partnering with 46 corporations such as Roche, Varian and GlaxoSmithKline Oncology. These organisations and companies work closely with UICC to provide greater awareness and education about cancer and therefore lead to positive change at an individual, community and policy level and across the continuum of cancer care.
