The AFB100-D27, a fanless eFlex embedded computer by iBase Technology, provides a comprehensive platform for connections between full-sized computers and micronised systems.

The increased connectivity includes a front panel I/O for express card, audio jack, DVI-I, gigabit ethernet, COM, 3 x USB 2.0 and DC-in connector. It also uses a speedy onboard Intel Atom Processor D2700, 2.12 GHz and an internal expansion socket for mSATA.

The compact form factor has a 4 Gb DDR3 SO-DIMM memory capability. With an operating temperature of 0 to 45°C, a storage temperature of -20 to 80°C and a relative humidity tolerance from 5 to 90% at 45°C (non-condensing), the computer is able to function in a number of varied environments.

It has a construction of aluminium and steel and comes in black or silver in a slim design with mounting holes. It has been designed for applications such as digital signage, automation and process control.
