The rugged, low-profile, energy-efficient Marl 748S Series spotlight has been designed and successfully fielded for quarrying applications in the UK. It is said to be a significant advance over both conventional lighting technologies and other attempts using LED.
Features include up to 3000 lm light output for 56 W input power, ingress protection to IP66 standard and extended life of 60,000 h. Input is 39-264 VAC and there is an optional dawn to dusk sensor.
Options include choice of housing colour (black or white) and viewing angle (medium or wide). It is suitable for demanding applications with tough environmental conditions.
