Mornsun URB1D DC-DC railway series 40-160 VDC ultrawide input range railway module

For users who need an ultrawide input voltage converter, or are designing railway applications, Mornsun’s URB1D series will be of interest. The series has been designed with railway applications in mind and comes in a range of power supply wattages of 6, 10, 15 and 20 W, with efficiencies up to 89%, regulated output voltages ranging from 3.3 up to 24 VDC, 1.5 kV isolation, short-circuit protection, output overvoltage protection and low ripple and noise.

The converter uses modular architecture while having standard product sizes and footprints to provide an instant drop in solution to suit a wide range of applications, from onboard electronics up to protection, signalling or wayside equipment. Some models offer a variety of mounting options, such as din rail with screw terminals, surface mount with screw terminals and PCB mount and a heat sink option. The DC-DC converters offer a 40-160 VDC 4:1 wide input, operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C and a six-sided metal shielded case.

Mornsun also has a transient protection module to use with the devices should the user require it, offering efficiency up to 95%, a compact size of only 2 x 1″, EN50155 and RIA12 compliant, and reverse voltage input protection.

DLPC is the Master Distributor in ANZ for Mornsun Power Products, with official distributors in Victoria and South Australia (Fairmont Marketing) and in Auckland (Fero).
