Advantech has received the Taiwan Excellence award for its intelligent audio and video controller, the UbiQ-350.

Selected from various competing models, the controller was recognised by a distinguished panel of judges, composed of officials from the Bureau of Foreign Trade in the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

The controller can integrate home theatre devices, including TVs, speakers, DVDs and amplifiers. WIth intelligence built in, it can also be a central  controller of lighting systems and other electronic devices.

It gives users control over precise adjustments, including lights, temperature, audio and video, from a one-touch screen.
