Advantech SOM-7562 COM-Ultra CPU module
Advantech has released its latest COM CPU module powered by the Atom processor.
The SOM-7562 COM-Ultra CPU module is powered by the N450 processor with integrated onboard graphic and memory controller on a single chip.
COM-Ultra is a new COM form factor at only 84 x 55 mm board size. The COM-Ultras are claimed to be the most compact COM modules available, are compliant with the COM-Express type 1 standard pin definition and, with a slight modification, able to share with current COM-Express or COM-Micro carrier boards.
The thermal design power rating is less than 5.5 W and the integrated ‘all-in-one’ chip design is suitable for compact mobile device applications.
