Allen-Bradley 842E EtherNet/IP absolute encoders
The Allen-Bradley 842E encoder with industry-standard ethernet/IP interface comes with dual-port ethernet and M12 connectors, thus providing users with an easy installation.
It includes an embedded ethernet/IP switch to connect additional E/IP capable product in series and/or support a device level ring (DLR) for ethernet media redundancy. Other features include an RSLogix 5000 Add-On-Profile and a protection class up to IP67.
Targeted for high performance in harsh industrial environments, the encoder provides high-resolution absolute positioning. Available in single-turn 18-bit resolution and multiturn 30-bit resolution, the product is suitable for automotive, material handling and general factory automation applications such as packing machines, robotics, printing machines and rotary table positioning.
