The Artila Matrix-700 Cortex-A5 based industrial embedded Linux computer is fanless and has long-term stability, faster flash memory, flexible input/output function and smaller dimensions. It is powered by an ATMEL 536 MHz ATSAMA5D35 Cortex-A5 CPU which is equipped with 512 MB SDRAM and 8 MB Flash, and is suitable for non-stop running in an unmanned application environment.

The product features one gigabit and one 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port, two USB 2.0 high-speed (480 Mbps) host ports, four software-configurable RS232/485 serial ports, one microSD socket and one USB client port which can be powered directly and function as a console.

The computer comes with Linux kernel 3.18.x and file system, plus many software utilities such as web server, PHP, python, MySQL and SQLite. Users can use apt-get to upgrade Toolchain on a local site via Ethernet. Webmin is available for web-based application. Users can set up user accounts, Apache, DNS and file sharing.

The product’s low power consumption makes it a suitable lightweight computing platform for device networking and remote monitoring.
