Avalue Technology Inc. has launched the EPM-1502. eDP to VGA converter, designed to provide connectivity between eDP-enabled devices and VGA monitors, thereby simplifying installation.
The converter eliminates the need for driver settings and is designed to provide a seamless experience when connecting to VGA monitors. With plug-and-play functionality, it simplifies installation without the complexities of hardware set-up. This reduces the cost of screen replacement and extensive redesign efforts while saving users’ time.
The converter features a ruggedised design to withstand extreme temperatures, with an operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C. Its ability to operate 24/7 in harsh environments makes it a suitable choice for industries such as industrial automation, manufacturing, and retail applications. In addition, the converter supports resolutions up to 1920x1200 @60 Hz with reduced blanking timing and compliance.
The converter has a standard lifetime of 7+ years and project-based availability of 10+ years. The converter features a 40-pin eDP connector, a DB-15 VGA connector and a VGA output that is compliant with VESA VSIS v1r2 specification. The connector is also compliant with Embedded DisplayPort (eDP) specification version 1.3 and supports analog RGB output for VGA with Triple 9-bit DAC up to 200 MHz pixel rate.
