Axiomtek introduces PICO500, a compact Pico-ITX embedded board supporting the 6th generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 and Celeron processor. The product supports one 260-pin DDR4-2133 SO-DIMM slot with up to 16 GB system memory capacity.
The durable device comes with advanced connectivity including USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, HD audio, HDMI and 18-/24-bit single-/dual-channel LVDS. Considering various demands and networking requests, the tiny embedded board comes with one full-size PCI Express Mini Card on the rear side. Its storage interfaces include an SATA HDD and mSATA support on the PCI Express Mini Card slot.
To ensure reliable operation, the embedded board supports watchdog timer and hardware monitoring. It runs well with Windows 8.1 and 10 operating systems; hence, the industrial-grade board also supports Intel AMT 11 technology for better remote management (on Intel Core i7 and i5 processors only).
The Pico-ITX form factor offers a good solution for compact performance systems such as vehicle PCs, small media entertainment systems, industrial automation systems, medical imaging, gaming and other Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) designs. The industrial motherboard is built to withstand wide temperature conditions ranging from -20 to +70°C with active thermal solution.
