Ezi-SERVOBT stepper motor and drive system

Ezi-SERVOBT, an integrated stepping motor and drive system in one package, has a high resolution encoder that updates the motor position to the integrated drive every 25 µs.

Optimising DSP technology and proprietary software, it is claimed that the drive ensures exact position, no overshooting and smooth motion at 100% of load and the integrated controller eliminates tuning and maintains oscillation-free stable holding position at 100% of motor torque.

This allows fast positioning and continuous operation during rapid short stroke operation. The motor/drive minimise wiring and are plug-and-run out-of-the-box.

The motor and drive feature: totally closed loop control; minimised wiring; no gain tuning; no hunting; smooth and accurate positioning using the high resolution encoder (up to 20,000 CPR); fast response; high torque; high speed (3000 RPM); load-dependent current control reduces heat generation and improves efficiency; and plug-and-run.
