AEC-6831 fanless embedded PC

Interworld has added the AEC-6831 to its range of embedded PC controllers.

The Boxer series is designed to meet the demands for standalone and blind node control PCs. The series is high-performance embedded PCs featuring fanless operation, compact size, robust construction, low power requirements, high vibration/shock protection, wide operating temperature range and certificated embedded OS support.

The PC is based on the Atom N270 1.6 GHz mobile processor. Features include: up to 1 GB of DDR2 in a SODIMM package, dual graphics outputs (VGA + DVI), 4x USB 2.0 port, 2x serial ports, 2x RJ45 GbE ports, audio line in, out and mic and an externally accessible CompactFlash slot.

The computer includes an internal DC to DC converter allowing the unit to operate from a 9 to 30 VDC supply.

An optional external AC power pack is also available. An optional hard disk kit can be installed, allowing a 2.5 IDE hard drive to be fitted.
